CNC Lathe and CNC Mill Machinists

Available shifts:

6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Responsibilities and Education:

  • Set-up for new runs of current parts, following set-up procedures.
  • Work under limited supervision.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics, and precision measuring tools.
  • Monitor feeds and speeds
  • Perform progressive machining operations for parts with close tolerances or high finish requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Understand the working properties of some materials.
  • Make hand edits to programs after receiving approval from programming.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • An associate's degree or vocational training and/or 5-10 years of experience preferred.

Lead Quality Inspector

Available shifts:

6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on dimensional inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished detail parts and assemblies in support of an AS9100C certified machine shop. 
  • Operate and programm CMM, using PC-DMIS.
  • Create First Article Inspection Reports with proper documentation.
  • Interact with representatives from customer’s Quality teams.
  • Generate complex layouts, setup operations.
  • Generate spreadsheets for data collection.
  • Write non-conformance tags.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Familiar with Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances per ASME Y14.5.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 Quality systems requirements.
  • Ability to us a variety of precision measuring equipment such as: micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc. 
  • Ability to read aerospace blueprints; understand detailed specifications and instruction.
  • Capable of performing geometric and trigonometric calculations. 
  • Skilled in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities, as well as organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of aerospace experience
